“It is of vital importance that the debate about the future of Europe now starts in national capitals, regions and local communities”, stated Jan Seifert, the President of JEF-Europe.
“JEF will do its best to transfer the message from Strasbourg, so should all the members of the European Parliament!”
The Young European Federalists (JEF-Europe) in cooperation with the Intergroup for the European Constitution organise a public action in support of the Duff-Voggenhuber report together with Members of European Parliaments, including Duff and Voggenhuber, outside the European Parliament on Wednesday, January 18, 2006.
A pan-European courier service has been contracted to deliver the debate about the future of Europe back to the European citizens. Just before the plenary debate on the Duff-Voggenhuber report, members of European Parliament and youngsters from all over Europe will start moving big boxes containing the debate about the future of Europe and a demand for a European Constitution.
